Nick Basala

Nick is Vice President of Commercial Sales at HelloData, where he leads commercial sales. He joined in 2025 from Crexi, the commercial real estate marketplace, where he spent almost four years moving from Sales Development Representative to Account Executive and then Regional Director. Before moving into technology he spent four years in commercial real estate lending in Chicago, first at MB Financial Bank, where he joined through its credit analyst leadership development program and became a commercial real estate officer, and then at Fifth Third Bank. Nick graduated from Michigan State University, is a native of Detroit, and enjoys golfing and skiing outside of work.
